What is Kids Hope?

The powerful one-to-one model positively impacts children as emotional and social development needs are met and learning capacity enhanced. High-quality training, structures and child-safe processes have flow-on benefits to mentors, classrooms, schools, families and communities. Our volunteer-based model is easy for any church to deliver no matter the size, demographics or denomination.

The model is simple...

One Child - One Mentor - One Hour a week

The impact... immeasurable!

Principals and Pastors love Kids Hope!

"The Kids Hope program is so important to our school. I hear it, I see it, I feel it. I hear it when the kids are laughing or talking and interacting with their mentor. I hear it when I have parents and students asking me for a Kids Hope mentor. I see it when I look at my waiting list of the children who need a mentor. But most importantly, I see the positive change in the behaviour of our students over time. On behalf of their families, thank you, and on behalf of our school community, thank you, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for giving our kids hope!"

- School Assistant Principal, VIC

"During my time as a Senior Pastor, one of the most positive programs for community connection and support was Kids Hope. First, it was a very constructive link to the local school. Secondly, we had much feedback about the influence our Kids Hope volunteer mentors had on the lives of those with whom they met. Finally, we regularly heard how this experience encouraged and challenged the volunteers. I commend the work of Kids Hope to any church seeking to serve their local community."

- Karl Faase, CEO, Olive Tree Media

"The fantastic mentoring program which has given so many children opportunities for recognition and friendship that would not normally be possible for a school to give. This program is the envy of every primary school in this state and I have not come across a mentoring program in all the schools in which I have been Principal (approx. 11) that comes anywhere near the efficiency and professional outreach of Kids Hope. Thank you from the entire school community for your HUGE impact on our whole structure."

- School Principal, WA

"It is in my opinion one of the most successful community partnerships happening within our educational system and I am pleased that it is being implemented in schools all over Australia."

- School Principal, VIC
